Who is really working for the great good here? Are the political masterminds basing their decisions on reality or religion? The arab nations believe everything to be based on religious zealousness. The west really dont know if they're going to war over financial reasons, fear, oil. The one thing they do know is its nothing to do with religion.
With this in mind, why are the religious organisations of the West stamping whatever authority they have left on the NO WAR campaigns we see every day?
Because in the west religion is raped by capitalism. And a good thing to.

Twinkys 'n' terror, together in harmony
The fat cats are about to get very very fat. The world is in the midst of an economic meltdown and people are getting fatter and fatter. Where is religion in our our of need? At war. In the UK right now the archbishop of Canterbury seems to think Sharia law in Britain is inevitable and a good idea while the middle east is at loggerheads with the US and the Western World who have perhaps mistakenly set themselves up as the Christian side.
So, back to the twinkys. It's a known fact when the chips are down and everything is looking bad, turn to gold. Unless you're a woman, in which case first turn to twinkys, chocolate, hell anything that gives a basic pleasure. The world right now needs a woman to take the helm of the US and steer the West out the myre. What are the options? Wow, theres a woman....but shes some form of...man. Compassion? Where? I find greater solace thinking the lord may come down from the heavens and shower us with twinkys.

Where are we now?
Looking like we're going to have Mccain as the Republican canditate to replace George W. Hilldog is likely to get the Democatic nod, maybe Obama will make it. The Democratic candidate will be largely irrelevant, America is not ready for a woman or a black guy. Whether it should be is indeed open to debate but in my mind as an outsider looking in it just wont happen. Change maybe required but a change of this perceived magnitude is jsut not viable.
So this leaves us in the myre. Another American looney tune in the Oval office. A publicly religious guy Mccain will be an easy target for the enemies of the US to relate the old Muslim vs Christrianity struggle. While the world is slipping into a crucial financial stage in its history the last thing the West needs is a continuation of the fight, it needs to close ranks, weather the storm and come out of the other side. We have yet to see the realisation of our financial mismanagement, if we are still at war when we do there are going to be real problems.
